Job description

As a Software Engineer on the Safety and Location team at Apple, you will contribute to the development of innovative safety features such as Emergency SOS Live Video and Crash Detection. This role involves collaborating with various product development groups to enhance wireless systems and improve customer experiences globally. The position demands a strong background in software development and the ability to adapt to evolving requirements. Requirements

  • Strong Software Engineering skills including design, programming in C, C++, Python, and Git.
  • Experience crafting APIs and broad experience in system design.
  • Familiarity with software design paradigms and development best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, programming, and debugging skills.
  • Experience designing and debugging frameworks and multi-threaded or multi-process systems.
  • Deep understanding of user privacy and the balance between privacy and safety.
  • Experience with Objective-C or Swift programming.
