The role is focused on managing and optimizing automation systems within AWS data centers, specifically Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS). The position requires a background in construction management, mechanical, electrical, or technology fields, and involves significant travel. • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant controls experience, or 10+ years of relevant controls experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years with industrial controls in critical environments such as data centers or pharmaceuticals.
• 4+ years of general project or vendor management experience associated with construction and project execution.
• Experience designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting, or servicing HVAC Controls or Electrical SCADA systems.

• Manage the scope of Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) for AWS data center construction.
• Ensure data center controls are deployed in accordance with the scope of work and specifications.
• Review and provide feedback on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings.
• Develop controls bill of material (BOM).
• Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables and navigate difficult situations.
• Work under tight project timelines and financially manage both construction and service contracts.
• Act in a project sponsor or lead capacity and provide vendor management.
• Develop scope of work for site improvement projects and provide technical assistance to internal customers.
• Perform controls root cause analysis for service of controls for AWS data centers.
• Schedule and supervise quarterly maintenance for BMS and EPMS.
