The role at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. focuses on defining, designing, and developing complex radio frequency integrated circuits for wireless applications, including 4G, 5G, and 6G standards. The engineer will perform detailed transistor-level design and circuit topology analysis while utilizing advanced process technologies. The engineer will also contribute to the architecture and design of RFICs under close supervision.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience designing RF/Analog circuits for wireless products, or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or professional experience using two or more of the following software: CADENCE, Virtuoso, ADS.
• 3+ years of experience in transistor level design of RF analog integrated circuits with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in design of receiver and transmitter RF/Analog circuits, high-performance RF frequency synthesizers, or digital control and signal processing is preferred.
• 1+ year of experience working in a large matrixed organization is preferred.

• Use tools/applications to contribute to the architecture and design of small, well-defined blocks based on specifications.
• Run simulations to determine how circuits perform under various circumstances with some supervision.
• Work under guidance to floor-plan layout and partner with layout engineers to generate the layout of circuits and conduct physical verification.
• Write basic test plans and review test results to assess performance and identify any bugs in own work.
• Debug simple issues and escalate complex issues as necessary.
• Utilize Neural Networks for circuit optimization and analysis.
• Seek knowledge of industry trends and advances related to RFICs.
• Contribute to conversations to generate new ideas.
• Write clear technical documentation and feature descriptions for small projects with some supervision.
