Job description

The Technology Presales Architect at EY plays a crucial role in shaping client proposals and solutions by leveraging SAP technology. This position involves direct client interaction, where the architect acts as a trusted advisor to translate client requirements into effective solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of technology and the ability to guide the pursuit lifecycle, ensuring that solutions align with client objectives. The architect will also collaborate with various internal stakeholders to address technology gaps and enhance the overall presales process.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technology, business development, and thought leadership.
  • Strong background in SAP technology and experience in deal development, architecture, and strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in responding to RFPs and shaping client proposals.
  • Certifications in Agile Delivery and DevOps are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Harvest client requirements and translate them into solutions that meet agreed objectives.
  • Lead the technology aspect of pursuit teams and provide presales thought leadership.
  • Establish presales standards and guidelines to increase the success rate of client pursuits.
  • Support end-to-end solution architecture aligned with clients' IT roadmaps.
  • Identify and address technology gaps during the pursuit cycle.
