Apple Services is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead the Live Sports and Media Analytics team. This team focuses on building highly scalable, near real-time systems that process live sports data, video, and audio streams. Collaboration with peer engineering teams, data scientists, and stakeholders is essential to understand data needs and deliver impactful solutions.

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years of leading engineering teams
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices
• Hands-on experience in architecting and delivering large-scale data engineering applications
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for mentoring and developing engineering talent
• Experience in leading teams through large, open-ended projects with ambiguous requirements
• Experience in delivering AIML and GenAI engineering projects at scale
• Experience in building scalable stream analytics systems with technologies like Flink, Spark, Kafka, Iceberg, or StarRocks
• Experience in computer vision, video and audio stream processing with Open CV, VLM, Object Detection, and Speech to Text
