Job description
Arcadis is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (HVAC) to join their multidisciplinary Design and Engineering team in Seattle, WA. The role focuses on supporting mechanical discipline across multiple projects, including design and construction phases. The engineer will collaborate with architects, engineers, project managers, and clients to design HVAC systems with an emphasis on sustainable solutions. This position is integral to delivering impactful engineering solutions that improve quality of life.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 4 or more years of relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering
- Design experience producing IFC drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Load Calculation Software (Trane Trace, HAP)
Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering and construction documents including drawings, specifications, and design narratives
- Assist in the preparation of engineering estimates and proposals
- Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines
- Perform various system studies including thermal comfort and energy management
- Work within established budgets and schedules for each assignment
