The Structural Engineer will join Jacobs' Northwest team, focusing on the design and implementation of water and wastewater facilities. This role involves collaborating with a network of structural engineers on various projects, including pump stations and treatment facilities. The engineer will lead the development of technical reports, calculations, and construction drawings. Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience working as a structural engineer
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a structural engineering emphasis; master's degree in structural engineering preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience with municipal or industrial water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and conveyance systems
- Experience with structural design and analysis software such as STAAD.PRO, TEDDS, SAP2000, and RAM Elements
Responsibilities
- Lead and design facilities for water and wastewater clients
- Develop project-specific technical reports, calculations, and construction drawings
- Collaborate with local and national experts to ensure project success
- Provide construction phase support services for various projects
- Work effectively in multi-discipline project teams
