The ideal candidate will have expertise in financial modeling and data science, particularly within the credit card industry. This position requires a combination of technical skills and the ability to communicate complex analyses effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering, data science, economics, statistics, computer science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in data science roles focused on financial modeling, business analysis, finance, and data analysis.
  • Deep understanding of product valuation modeling and marginal decisioning.
  • Expertise in Python, particularly with libraries such as Pandas and Polars.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with large-scale distributed systems like Redshift.
  • Strong experience in building scalable production-ready workflows and end-to-end ETL pipelines.

  • Highly organized and self-driven with effective prioritization skills.
  • Advanced degree in Applied Econometrics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Analytics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and investigate new opportunities for Apple Card.
  • Project future results and ensure alignment with the long-term business strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, finance, and credit teams.
  • Work with external partners, such as issuing banks, to support product strategy.
  • Deliver clear, executive-ready insights from complex analyses.
  • Build and maintain scalable production-ready workflows and predictive models.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
