The Stress Testing and Reliability Laboratory is looking for a hands-on engineer to join the Environmental Stress Tool Engineering team. This role focuses on advancing Intel's packaging technologies while supporting package qualification and technology development. The team operates a diverse fleet of environmental stress systems to evaluate the reliability of silicon and package technologies. • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related scientific field with 3+ years of experience, or a PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related scientific field with 0 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of DC electrical systems, including operation, troubleshooting, and calibration of programmable DC power supplies and associated instrumentation.
• Experience with electrical measurement and data acquisition equipment, including digital multimeters, thermocouple measurement systems, and temperature monitoring hardware.

• Characterize equipment performance and response to excursions and issues.
• Continuously improve methods, specifications, and training.
• Develop, analyze, and implement statistical process control.
• Translate reliability stress analysis requirements into fixturing and develop new tools, systems, and other innovative solutions.
• Coordinate with tool vendors and field service engineers.
• Collaborate with internal operations, planning, and facilities teams.
