Job description
The Data Quality Lead Analyst at Citibank will focus on ensuring the integrity and quality of Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA) risk data. This role involves performing data quality analysis, monitoring key performance indicators, and leading initiatives to improve data quality. The analyst will collaborate with various teams to address data concerns and support regulatory reporting needs. Additionally, the position requires the preparation of reports and dashboards for senior management, utilizing advanced data analysis tools.
Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Information Technology and Management or related field and 3 years of experience in relevant positions.
- Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in the stated fields and 5 years of progressively responsible experience is acceptable.
- Experience must include Data Analysis and Interpretation, Market Risk Management, and proficiency in Excel, VBA, MS Access, SQL, Tableau, and Python.
- Experience in ad-hoc reporting for senior management and Project Management for data analytics initiatives is required.
Responsibilities
- Identify, escalate, and remediate issues related to CVA risk data.
- Perform data quality analysis by assessing and evaluating data.
- Monitor KPIs and metrics for data quality.
- Lead project management related to CVA data improvements.
- Produce Data Quality dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate with counterparts to monitor and remediate data concerns.
- Supervise financial reconciliation and data quality measurement of CVA data.
- Prepare and present Tableau-based reports to senior management.
- Liaise with other areas of the firm to understand data challenges.
- Lead day-to-day activities to support data quality resolution.
