This role is for an experienced engineer to join Apple's Systems Engineering team, focusing on mobility control features for 5G and 6G wireless communication systems. • Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree.
• Understanding of 5G-NR standard, specifically RRC and PHY.
• Knowledge of Wireless Communication Systems.
• Strong theoretical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Matlab, C/C++, Javascript, and/or Python for system-level simulation, workflow automation, data analysis, and visualization.
• Familiarity with NR reference signal design, cell search/measurement, and mobility behavior is a plus.
• Familiarity with key RRC signaling flows between UE and network is a plus.
• Experience with genAI tools to improve work efficiency and data analysis/machine learning skills.
