Job description

Join Apple's Wireless Technologies & Ecosystems team as a Software Engineer, where you will design and build next-generation wireless and connectivity solutions. You will work at the intersection of hardware and software, focusing on writing drivers and developing embedded firmware. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience writing drivers for large operating systems.
  • Proficiency in programming in C and/or C++.
  • Solid understanding of system programming, including memory and process management.
  • Strong debugging skills in complex environments.
  • Experience with embedded firmware development.
  • Knowledge of communication buses such as UART, USB, SPI, and PCIe.
  • Knowledge of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or other wireless protocols.
  • Familiarity with low-power optimization in embedded systems.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems and low-level programming.
  • Proven analytical skills across hardware/software boundaries.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for innovative problem-solving and finding elegant solutions.
