The Software Engineer in AIML Evaluation at Apple will work within a dynamic team focused on enhancing the quality of Apple Intelligence and improving user experiences across various products. This role involves collaborating with product managers, backend engineers, and data scientists to develop evaluation systems and frameworks for AI/ML models. • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production systems
• Experience designing and scaling distributed systems including load balancing and capacity planning
• Experience with frontend web development using React and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with RESTful API design and SQL and NoSQL databases
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree with applicable experience

• Work closely with product managers, backend engineers, and data scientists to improve overall quality and user experience of Apple products
• Design and develop evaluation systems and frameworks to enhance the quality of Apple Intelligence
• Tune evaluation infrastructure and improve operational controls and auditability
• Scale workflows to support the development of Apple Intelligence
