Job description
The role involves being a key member of the Last Mile Technology team at Amazon, focusing on redefining delivery operations through innovative software solutions. You will work on building reliable, high-performance distributed systems that support the logistics network. Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience in embedded development in C/C++
- Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing
- Experience with general troubleshooting/debugging of hardware
Responsibilities
- Define features that empower frontline associates and simplify global operations
- Refine system architectures and spearhead engineering best practices
- Build reliable, high-performance distributed systems for sorting packages
- Set the foundation for the next generation of Last Mile technology
- Engage in design and code reviews to enhance team output
- Lead the on-call rotation to support production systems
- Conduct onsite testing at Last Mile Stations to ensure operational readiness
