Job description

The Senior DFT Engineer at NVIDIA will lead silicon test innovation, focusing on the development of advanced test methodologies for next-generation silicon platforms. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement cutting-edge test access mechanisms and improve silicon test technology. The engineer will also guide junior engineers and ensure high-quality execution from pre-silicon to production deployment. This position offers a significant opportunity to impact the semiconductor industry within a world-class team.

Requirements

  • BSEE with 5+ years of experience, MSEE with 3+ years, or PhD in DFT or related domains.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in defining scan test plans, BIST including memories and IOs, fault modeling, ATPG, and fault simulation.
  • Excellent analytical skills in verification and validation of test patterns on complex builds.
  • Experience in silicon debug and bring-up with an understanding of pattern formats and test program development.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and roll out advanced test methodologies on NVIDIA’s next-generation silicon platforms.
  • Own and work with cross-functional teams to implement the latest in test access mechanisms.
  • Collaborate closely with VLSI and Product Engineering groups to design innovative DFT approaches.
  • Lead end-to-end planning and execution of NVIDIA's new chip bring-up efforts.
  • Develop and standardize methodologies, processes, and workflows for silicon bring-up.
  • Improve cross-team communication and work handoffs.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers in achieving quality and efficiency.
