NVIDIA is seeking a senior engineer to join the Design-for-X Engineering team, focusing on innovative solutions in AI for Chip Design and manufacturing testing. The role involves working on DFT Power, Thermal & Voltage Noise Methodology to enhance the quality of semiconductor chips. The engineer will collaborate with multi-functional teams and utilize AI and machine learning to develop next-generation methodologies. This position also includes mentoring junior engineers and conducting post-silicon data analysis.
Requirements
- BSEE with 12+ years, MSEE with 10+ years, or PhD with 6+ years of experience in DFT design and power.
- Understanding of fundamental DFT topics and VLSI areas of power, timing, and voltage noise.
- Experience in Power Analysis, Thermal Analysis, and IR Drop tools is a plus.
- Experience in application of AI for EDA-related problem-solving is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge in using statistical tools for data analysis and insights.
- Good exposure to multi-functional areas including RTL and clocks design, STA, place-n-route, and power.
- Experience in Silicon debug and bring-up on the ATE or SLT platforms.
Responsibilities
- Work on innovating in the DFT Power, Thermal & Voltage Noise Methodology areas.
- Develop groundbreaking low power and thermal solutions for manufacturing tests.
- Partner with multi-functional teams to implement new methodologies for improving chip quality.
- Conduct post-silicon data analysis for power to architect next-gen solutions.
- Help develop and deploy DFT methodologies using Applied ML and Gen AI solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers on test designs and trade-offs including cost and quality.
