Job description

The Electrical Engineering Manager at KLA leads a high-impact team responsible for designing and developing electrical and control systems for advanced reticle inspection platforms. This role emphasizes strong technical leadership and cross-functional coordination to ensure the successful execution of product development cycles. The manager will oversee a team of up to 7 engineers, focusing on innovation and accountability. The position requires expertise in electrical system design and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6+ years of relevant experience with proven ability to lead, including 2+ years of management experience
  • Strong expertise in electrical system design for complex equipment
  • Hands-on experience with PLC systems, specifically Allen-Bradley and/or Beckhoff

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of electrical interconnect systems and cable architecture
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of up to 7 engineers
  • Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, serviceability, and cost targets
  • Drive issue resolution using structured methodologies such as RCCA and 8D
  • Partner with Mechanical, Optical, Controls, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Field teams to resolve complex system integration challenges
