Arcadis is seeking a Senior Roadway Design Engineer to join their Mobility team in Houston, TX. This role involves overseeing civil engineering work for complex urban freeway and rural highway projects. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring quality client service and project profitability while mentoring junior staff. This position offers a unique opportunity for leadership and growth within the Arcadis Mobility Business Line.

• 8+ years of progressive highway design experience, with at least 3 years of roadway design lead experience on TxDOT projects
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
• Texas PE
• TxDOT precertification

• Direct the development of final design construction plans for highway and roadway projects.
• Lead, manage, and perform assignments to take 30 percent schematic design plans through preliminary and final design.
• Prepare roadway and highway design using local or AASHTO standards while developing roadway plan and profile sheets.
• Develop project scopes and budgets, interfacing with clients and mentoring junior staff.
• Assist on other projects as needed and collaborate with other Arcadis offices.
