Arcadis is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join their Houston, Texas Bridge Team. This role involves delivering bridge projects while showcasing technical expertise and management skills within a collaborative environment. The engineer will serve as a technical lead for infrastructure projects, guiding junior staff and collaborating with other discipline leads. The position offers a hybrid work model, requiring physical proximity to the office.

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
• 12 or more years of bridge design experience with at least 3 years of bridge design lead experience on TxDOT projects
• 5 or more years of TxDOT experience
• Texas PE registration
• A valid driver’s license

• Serve as lead engineer for bridges and other structures, including new construction, inspection, repair, and rehabilitation projects.
• Lead, assign, and review work while providing technical guidance to the team.
• Collaborate with colleagues in other offices and different areas of expertise.
• Review technical packages as part of the internal quality program.
• Deliver quality plans, calculations, and specifications on schedule.
• Complete bridge inspections and load ratings with associated reports.
• Assist in preparing proposals for various pursuits.
• Represent the firm at professional organizations and conferences.
