Job description
The Data Quality Lead Analyst at Citibank will focus on driving data quality measurement and implementing strategies to enhance data governance. This role involves collaborating with various departments to address data challenges and improve data integrity. The analyst will also produce dashboards and reports to monitor data quality metrics. A hybrid work schedule may be available, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Six years of experience in data quality systems or a related IT occupation.
- Experience in identifying and documenting system lineage and metadata using data management tools.
- Ability to convey complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in data profiling, analysis, and validation using relational databases and SQL.
- Proven ability to identify data quality issues and develop effective solutions.
- Experience in navigating conflicting interests among different departments to find business-aligned solutions.
- Ability to monitor tight deadlines and manage unexpected requirement changes.
Responsibilities
- Support activities to drive data quality measurement and produce dashboards and reports.
- Implement data quality strategies to govern data effectively.
- Drive data improvement initiatives and create tools in line with requirements.
- Liaise with other areas of the firm to understand data challenges and solutions.
- Review quality analysis results and manage data challenges through the Data/Issue management process.
- Coordinate day-to-day activities to support data quality resolution.
- Report data quality issues through the Data/Issue management process.
- Support senior management's strategic vision and assess risks in business decisions.
