Job description
As a Project Manager on Apple's Supplier Carbon Solutions Team, you will focus on driving decarbonization in Apple's product manufacturing through the supply chain. This role involves collaborating with various teams to implement decarbonization strategies and manage supplier projects across diverse geographies. You will be responsible for providing technical assistance and developing training programs to enhance supplier capabilities in decarbonization. Your efforts will contribute to Apple's overall strategy for supply chain decarbonization and influence other companies to pursue similar goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, environmental science, economics/business or other technical/scientific field
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Extraordinary program and project management experience
- Broad understanding of various decarbonization technologies
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Curiosity and ability to learn quickly in a complex sector
- East Asia language skills (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) are a plus
Responsibilities
- Manage and drive decarbonization projects across Apple's supply chain.
- Partner with Apple Operations and Procurement leadership to integrate decarbonization strategies.
- Independently manage technical assistance for suppliers on decarbonization projects.
- Develop and host accessible training programs for suppliers.
- Execute strategic deals with suppliers and solution providers.
- Track and present supplier data and program performance metrics to leadership.
- Design and implement programs to further integrate decarbonization into Apple's supply chain.
- Contribute to publicizing Apple's progress in decarbonization efforts.
- Monitor carbon-related regulations and ensure compliance with eligibility criteria.
