As an Amazon Critical Infrastructure Engineer, you will provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers, ensuring they meet customer needs while maintaining high safety and security standards. You will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers and specialists to troubleshoot issues, develop innovative solutions, and lead engineering audits. The role involves both office and field work, allowing you to engage directly with data center operations and construction projects. This position is crucial for maintaining the reliability and efficiency of AWS's global infrastructure.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Valid and active driver's license
• Knowledge of electrical systems in critical Data Center operations
• Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem-solving abilities
• Possess data analytics skills and comfort with working in vast amounts of data

• Provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers from design inception through maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for site/equipment failures.
• Support operational issues with ad-hoc training and complex operating procedure reviews.
• Own the conceptual design for existing data center upgrades and design solutions.
• Interface with internal teams to promote standards for consistency and reliability.
• Develop innovative solutions for AWS’s data centers.
• Initiate and lead engineering audits, producing reports with risks and mitigations.
• Act as resident engineer during new construction projects, supporting commissioning and turnover.
