Job description
The Mac UI Frameworks team is focused on enhancing the user experience for macOS applications through the development of SwiftUI, AppKit, and UIKit. This role involves building essential components and APIs that empower developers to create better applications with less code. Engineers will collaborate with various experts across Apple to push the boundaries of UI frameworks and improve the overall app development experience. The position requires a passion for software architecture and a commitment to delivering high-quality user interfaces.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Swift and Objective-C or the ability to become proficient quickly.
- 5+ years of experience with UI development for iOS, macOS, watchOS, or other Native Platforms.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience developing performance-critical software with a solid understanding of systems architecture.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of SwiftUI, AppKit, and UIKit frameworks.
- Build user interface components and APIs for macOS applications.
