Job description

The Data Analyst role at EY focuses on technology consulting within the Data & Analytics team, specifically in Data Product Management for the Financial Services Office. The position involves understanding business challenges and translating them into data product strategies and requirements. The role requires managing diverse teams and driving growth across financial services through innovative data solutions. Candidates will engage with clients to enhance business processes and deliver quality services.

Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Analytics or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.
  • Alternatively, must have a Master’s degree in a related field and 4 years of related work experience.
  • Must have 4 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: banking, capital markets, insurance and/or asset management industry.
  • Must have 3 years of experience leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams through a project and/or product life cycle.
  • Must have 3 years of combined experience in at least one Financial services domain.
  • Must have 3 years of experience assisting clients with data platform enablement and transformation.
  • Must have 4 years of experience with cloud-related technology and/or associated architecture patterns.
  • Requires domestic and regional travel up to 60% to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business challenges and translate them into data products strategy and requirements.
  • Work on large scale agile development projects that include data integration and reporting.
  • Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical and physical data models.
  • Define data and analytic strategies by performing assessments and recommending remediation strategies.
  • Manage and coach diverse teams of professionals with different backgrounds.
  • Propose and drive new technologies to enhance or replace existing business processes.
  • Engage and influence large teams and functional leaders.
  • Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress.
