Apple's Input Devices group is looking for a lead electrical engineer to develop and deliver the next generation of Human-Computer Interaction hardware, such as the Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard. This senior position involves leading cross-functional teams in the design, implementation, integration, and qualification of Human Interface Devices. The role requires a strong background in electrical engineering and hands-on experience in prototype development. The engineer will also work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure successful product execution.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline
• Minimum of 4 years of industry experience
• Strong background in analog, digital, power, and PCB design
• Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• 6+ years of industry experience preferred
• Experience working with sensors, wireless communications, low power design, haptics, and wireless charging
• Experience designing high volume, high quality consumer electronic products
• Experience leading a technical team
• Masters or Ph.D. preferred in Electrical Engineering or a similar discipline

• Manage schematic capture and PCB layout design of the electrical system
• Execute design in high volume, including characterization and validation
• Author detailed engineering requirements specifications
• Work with and manage suppliers and manufacturing partners
• Interface with and present to cross-functional leaders for project reviews
