Job description
This role at Apple involves leading a team of engineers in support of new product development and sustaining operations. Requirements
- 5+ years of strong work experience in precision assembly, inspection, and validation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering field.
- Meaningful experience in introducing products into manufacturing or high volume production.
- Excellent project management skills and experience working in a matrix organization.
- Direct experience leading functional engineering teams such as ME, EE, TE, or DFX.
- Experience working with International OEM partners.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 40%.
- Validated working experience with DFm and DFx.
- Consistent record of cost reduction, project management, and engineering design.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T principles.
- Working knowledge of pneumatics, servomotors, PLC, and PC-based control systems.
- JMP, Minitab, and Six Sigma experience.
- Master's degree considered a plus.
Responsibilities
