NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Deep Learning Systems Architect to design hardware accelerator and processor architectures for machine learning and data analytics. This role involves collaborating with diverse teams to advance the state of AI through next-generation GPUs and systems. The architect will analyze deep learning techniques and system optimizations, contributing to engineering projects from conception to prototyping. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic, technology-focused environment.
Requirements
- MS or PhD degree in computer science, computer architecture, electrical engineering or related field with 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong background in machine learning with a focus on Deep Neural Networks.
- Experience adapting and training DNNs for various tasks.
- Experience developing code for DNN training frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Programming fluency with C++ and ideally Python.
- Work experience with GPU computing and HPC is a huge plus.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to features that help next-generation GPUs and systems advancing the state of AI.
- Collaborate with DL researchers, hardware architects, and software engineers.
- Participate in engineering projects and co-design architecture for AI systems.
- Understand various AI/DL workloads and their mapping to underlying hardware and systems.
- Identify potential improvements and bottlenecks, proposing solutions to address existing gaps.
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of deep learning techniques and system optimizations.
