Job description
As a Qualcomm ASIC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in defining, modeling, designing, optimizing, verifying, validating, implementing, and documenting IP development for high-performance products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective product execution. This position focuses on both digital and analog design aspects while maintaining a commitment to low power and high quality. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Bachelor/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 0-1+ years of Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
- Familiarity with EDA tools such as Synopsys Design Compiler, Cadence Genus, or similar.
- Basic understanding of digital design principles and VLSI concepts.
- Understanding of scripting languages such as TCL, Perl, or Python.
- Knowledge of static timing analysis and timing closure techniques.
Responsibilities
- Perform digital synthesis and static timing analysis for complex digital designs.
- Collaborate with design, verification, and PD teams to ensure timing closure and design optimization.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of synthesis and STA scripts and methodologies.
- Analyze and resolve timing issues, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Run low power checks and logic equivalency checks.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on timing and synthesis aspects.
- Document and report synthesis and STA results, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
