The role of Manager in the National Tax - Federal Tax Advisory team at EY focuses on leveraging technology and data to enhance tax-related processes. The team works with proprietary EY software to ensure the accuracy of client data and implement custom solutions. This position involves managing diverse teams and maintaining client relationships while delivering quality services. The Manager will also contribute to the development of new methodologies and technology solutions to improve EY's R&D Incentives Prodigy.

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, Mathematics, Tax or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.
• Must have 4 years of experience with client data transformation and depreciation and research credit tax calculations using at least 1 of the following technology tools: Excel, Access, Alteryx, fixed asset depreciation software and/or EY’s proprietary research credit platform.
• Must have 4 years of experience in at least 1 or a combination of the following: a professional services firm, an industry position, or a mid-sized/regional to large sized/national public accounting firm.
• Must have 4 years of experience in at least 2 of the following analytics tools: Microsoft Power BI suite, Alteryx, SAP Business Objects, and/or Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Must hold at least one of the following certifications/accreditations: CPA, CMI, or equivalent.

• Work within technology tools and proprietary EY software to review generated reports for completeness and accuracy.
• Consult with regional teams to create custom data normalization, cleansing, and transformation solutions for raw client data.
• Assist regional teams in completing research credit and depreciation calculations.
• Develop and implement new technology solutions and methodologies to automate existing processes.
• Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds.
