The Product Systems Quality Robotics & Applied Intelligence team is seeking a motivated engineer to develop automated systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components. This role focuses on solving complex engineering challenges to ensure the quality of Apple products used by millions of customers. The engineer will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals to create sophisticated testing solutions. The position requires strong programming skills and a passion for robotics and consumer electronics testing.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Expertise in Python
• Experience with computer vision (OpenCV) and/or AI/ML applications
• Experience with applied mathematics such as linear algebra and kinematics
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex mechatronic and software systems
• Experience in CADing/designing mechanical fixtures for robotic applications
• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in creating and using robotics and/or mechatronic systems
• Experience designing and working with electronic circuits and troubleshooting electronic signals
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and practices
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
• Experience using and/or creating AI tools for development or robotic applications

• Develop automated systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components
