Job description
The Health Sensing Hardware team is seeking a motivated engineer to collaborate with research scientists and engineers on developing next-generation health sensors. The focus of this role is on conceiving, modeling, and prototyping new sensor solutions, particularly temperature sensors for health applications. Candidates should possess engineering excellence and creativity, along with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. A strong background in electrical or biomedical engineering is essential for success in this position.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of electrical engineering or physics fundamentals
- Experience modeling, building, and testing complex systems
- Proficiency in Python or MATLAB
- Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree
- Experience with temperature sensing or thermal design is a plus
- Experience with health sensor design is a plus
- Knowledge of statistics is a plus
- MS or PhD in EE, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field is a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist with conceiving new sensor solutions
- Model and prototype new sensor designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on mechanical design and algorithm development
- Participate in tester design and user studies
