The role is part of Apple's dynamic Product Operations team, where you will lead the Operations technical team during the development and high volume production of next generation products. As the technical lead for a product line, you will collaborate with various multi-functional teams to ensure product success. This position requires a strong partnership with the Operations technical team and Engineering throughout the product development lifecycle. Your focus will be on enabling operational success and addressing manufacturing assembly quality issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in New Product Introduction, Design Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, or Quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, or Industrial Engineering.
- Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science, or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
- Exceptional ability to build relationships and communicate clearly.
- Experience partnering with off-shore manufacturers and high volume production.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Operations technical team during product development and high volume production.
- Partner closely with multi-functional teams to enable product success.
- Act as a technical advisor for the product line throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure operational success through to mass production.
- Use data forensics to solve complex manufacturing assembly quality issues.
