Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in crafting, developing, and maintaining high-performance distributed systems and services using Java.
- Experience in NoSQL databases such as Cassandra.
- Strong Computer Science fundamentals and multi-thread programming experience.
- Curiosity for independently learning new technologies.
- Knowledge of Swift and/or Objective C is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend services to support iCloud Photos on iOS, VisionOS, and macOS platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across Apple to enhance product features.
- Define and build the next generation of features for consumer-facing products.
- Plan and execute projects, including designing data models and storage systems.
- Manage data flows, develop APIs, and select caching strategies.
