The role is part of Apple's growing wireless silicon development team, focusing on modeling and verification of Analog/RF/Mixed-Signal blocks and SoCs. The candidate will create behavioral models, testbenches, and tests using SystemVerilog. Collaboration across teams is essential, and the position is based in Cupertino, California. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of innovative technologies and ensure the functionality of first silicon.
Requirements
- BS degree and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
- Ph.D. or Master's degree with 5+ years of experience in modeling of analog/RF circuits.
- Hands-on experience in Mixed-Signal Verification and Real Numbered Modeling of Mixed-Signal Systems.
- Knowledge of wireless technologies such as WiFi, BT, UWB, or radio systems.
- Good understanding of basic analog circuits including PLLs, LDOs, Bandgap, ADC/DAC.
- Experience in modeling with SystemC and/or C/C++.
- Experience in writing scripts in languages such as Perl or Python.
- Knowledge of signal processing using Python or Matlab.
- Good understanding of AMS and wireless circuits/systems.
Responsibilities
- Model and verify Analog/RF/Mixed-Signal blocks and SoCs using SystemVerilog.
- Create behavioral models, testbenches, checkers, and tests.
- Build and execute test plans to meet project schedules and quality requirements.
- Support multiple pre-silicon validation teams to ensure fully functional first silicon.
- Integrate mixed-signal models onto emulation platforms.
