Job description

The role involves joining Fidelity's Asset Management Technology team to develop advanced data engineering solutions that support critical investment decisions. The team is responsible for a multi-terabyte data platform that underpins essential functions for Fidelity’s wealth management services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, particularly with Oracle PL/SQL and ETL tools. This position also requires participation in an after-hours on-call rotation for production support.

Requirements

  • Years of demonstrated expertise in crafting high-quality data engineering solutions
  • Strong software development background in the Financial Industry
  • Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, SQL Scripting, and database performance tuning
  • Proven understanding of ETL tools like Informatica and Data Warehousing platforms such as Snowflake
  • Basic proficiency in Java, Python, REST API, and AWS is advantageous
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban and SCRUM) is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
