The Staff ML Engineer role at Rivian focuses on driving and delivering high-quality, scalable auto-labeling models for Autonomous Vehicles. The team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of performance and ensuring rigorous evaluation and monitoring benchmarks. Candidates will collaborate closely with the Autonomy group and other teams to meet feature requirements and optimize model performance.

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a highly related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of professional experience scaling ML solutions with a focus on AV auto-labeling systems.
• Proven track record of hands-on experience delivering auto-labeling models for Autonomous Vehicles at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Python and a solid understanding of modern Perception pipelines and benchmarking tools.
• Demonstrated ability to drive progress across complex systems in a fast-paced environment.
