The Senior ML Engineer role at Rivian focuses on developing high-quality, scalable auto-labeling models for the Autonomy stack. Requirements
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience building and scaling machine learning solutions.
- Proven track record of delivering auto-labeling models for Autonomous Vehicles at scale.
- Strong proficiency in Python and understanding of modern perception pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to drive progress across complex, multi-domain systems.
Responsibilities
- Deliver production-grade, high-quality, scalable auto-labeling models.
- Train, optimize, and ship auto-labeling models in the Autonomy stack.
- Continuously improve model performance and establish rigorous evaluation benchmarks.
- Identify and root-cause system anomalies to prioritize high-impact optimizations.
- Collaborate closely with the Autonomy group to meet feature requirements.
