Job description
The Mixed Signal IP Integration Engineer role at Google focuses on shaping the future of AI/ML hardware acceleration through the development of custom silicon solutions. You will be part of a silicon design team that works on cutting-edge ASICs to enhance machine learning computation in data centers. This position involves driving the selection and integration of mixed signal IPs while coordinating with various cross-functional teams. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in improving the performance and power of Tensor Processing Units (TPUs).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of silicon engineering experience.
- Experience designing or integrating analog PHY designs such as PCIe, UCIe, or HBM PHYs.
- Experience with design integration flows and requirements.
Responsibilities
- Drive Mixed Signal IP selection and procurement.
- Own Mixed Signal IP planning and roadmap definition.
- Coordinate pre-silicon integration strategy of Mixed Signal IPs.
- Coordinate Mixed Signal IP implementation with cross-functional teams including Design, Verification, Physical Design, DFT, and Post-Silicon.
- Assist in post silicon bring-up and validation of Mixed Signal IPs.
