This position offers exposure to a variety of wealth-driven lending solutions within a sophisticated private banking environment. It is ideal for individuals looking to develop their expertise in financial analysis and credit risk.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel and financial statement review are necessary.
  • A high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn credit fundamentals are important.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and organize financial statements, tax returns, liquidity reports, and collateral documents.
  • Prepare initial financial spreads, liquidity analyses, and exposure summaries.
  • Assist with marketable securities analysis, LTV calculations, and collateral coverage reviews.
  • Maintain credit files, internal databases, exposure systems, and workflow trackers.
  • Support the documentation and closing process by coordinating with Legal, Compliance, and Operations.
  • Perform data integrity checks and prepare materials for credit meetings and committee packages.
  • Ensure that required documentation is collected and maintained in accordance with policy.
  • Support periodic monitoring activities, including annual reviews, covenant checks, and collateral revaluations.
  • Assist in identifying discrepancies or red flags in client information and escalate appropriately.
  • Work closely with Associates, Underwriters, Bankers, and Risk to ensure timely, accurate execution.

Benefits

  • Employees at Goldman Sachs are often offered comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, life and disability coverage, generous vacation and holidays, and robust wellness resources such as EAP counseling, medical advocacy, on-site/virtual health services, and fitness support. Financial perks typically include retirement savings programs, live financial education, education support, and wealth-creation opportunities through equity awards and select investment programs. Many locations also provide family benefits (childcare resources, parental and family leaves, adoption/surrogacy support) and flexible work options like part-time schedules, job sharing, telecommuting, and alternate hours.
