Job description
Apple Silicon Engineering is looking for Hardware-minded Software Engineers to develop innovative tools for designing the next generation of Apple's systems-on-chip (SOCs). This role focuses on creating specialized software tools and simulation platforms for analog mixed-signal circuits in custom silicon chips. Candidates will leverage their software engineering skills alongside hardware knowledge to build automation frameworks and modeling environments. The position emphasizes collaboration with design engineers to enhance the design process.
Requirements
- BS degree and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and/or C++
- Strong background in object-oriented programming (OOP) and software architecture design
- Experience with data storage systems, schema design, and database architecture
- Knowledge of event-driven programming and system-level simulation frameworks
- Experience developing web applications such as Flask and React
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, packaging, and deployment using tools like Docker or cloud services
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Responsibilities
