Job description

Apple's ISP team is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to advance innovative technologies for Apple products. The role involves working on core camera and ISP technologies, including the Image Signal Processing Pipeline and hardware components. The position requires collaboration with various teams, including Silicon Design/QA and machine learning algorithm teams, in a fast-paced and multifaceted environment. Candidates should be self-starters with a passion for embedded software development.

Requirements

  • BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience
  • 10 years of experience in embedded software development
  • Proficiency in C/C++
  • Experience in developing multi-thread software within embedded RTOS systems
  • Familiarity with camera pipeline and video processing
  • Knowledge of SoC and hardware layer aspects such as bring up, hardware driver, and firmware development
  • Understanding of memory management, optimization, and performance tuning in embedded systems

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development of core camera and ISP technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to innovate and iterate on product development
  • Define and enhance the processes for developing, testing, and manufacturing Apple products
  • Work on the Image Signal Processing Pipeline and associated hardware components
