Requirements
- Background in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, physics, or computer science, preferably with a Masters or PhD.
- Experience in municipal and corporate credit markets is beneficial.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills are essential.
- Desire and ability to create innovative solutions to commercial challenges.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and proven experience in the production software development life cycle.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with portfolio managers to build quantitative models and tools that streamline the portfolio management process.
- Develop sustainable production systems that can evolve and adapt to changes in the global business environment.
- Create quantitative analytics and signals using advanced statistical, quantitative, or econometric techniques to improve portfolio construction and performance.
- Develop rigorous and scalable data management and analysis tools to support the investment process.
- Implement mathematical models and analytics in production-quality software.
