Job description
Qualcomm is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to support global tax planning initiatives. This role requires full-time onsite work in San Diego, CA, and is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. The analyst will work closely with the finance and accounting team to prepare tax provisions and analyze tax laws. The position focuses on improving tax processes and supporting compliance efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business
- 3 - 5 years of corporate income tax experience in public accounting and/or multinational company
- Experience with tax software, preferably OneSource
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations and supporting schedules related to international operations.
- Build and maintain complex tax models to quantify the tax cost or savings of business plans and tax projects.
- Monitor, analyze, and communicate changes in U.S. and foreign tax laws and regulations.
- Support the international tax aspects of the tax compliance process.
- Drive tax process improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing opportunities for efficiency, automation, and technology adoption.
- Support additional projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.
