Job description

The Precision Stage ATE role is part of the US Operations' New Products Team at KLA, focusing on the hands-on assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of manufacturing reticle stages for advanced inspection systems. This position emphasizes continuous improvement in manufacturing processes to enhance cost, cycle-time, and efficiency. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of experts to resolve technical challenges and ensure high-quality production. Strong problem-solving skills and experience with semiconductor equipment are essential for this role.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 4 years proven manufacturing knowledge of precision mechatronics assemblies or closely related work.
  • Previous hands-on experience with semiconductor equipment, especially with precision motion control, optical-mechanical alignment, and system-level integration.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of diverse problems related to manufacturing reticle stages.
  • Assist in the set-up, alignment, and calibration of sophisticated test equipment and processes.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts that drive manufacturing process improvements.
  • Update documents for a repeatable manufacturing process.
  • Manufacture mechatronic sub-assemblies and/or systems supporting precision reticle stages.
