In this Principal-level role at NVIDIA, you will contribute to the advancement of autonomous vehicle development through vehicle dynamics simulation. The team focuses on creating systems that enhance the testing and validation of driving behaviors in various scenarios. You will be responsible for shaping the technical vision and architecture of the simulation framework. This position requires a deep understanding of vehicle dynamics and strong programming skills in C++ and Python.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Deep knowledge of vehicle dynamics, tire-road interaction, and multibody simulation.
• Strong C++ skills for production software and Python skills for analysis and validation.
• Proven ability to calibrate and validate simulation models.

• Be responsible for the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for vehicle dynamics simulation.
• Develop production-quality C++ interfaces for high-fidelity multibody models.
• Create scalable model-selection and validation workflows for diverse vehicle platforms.
• Translate trajectory and control commands into time-aligned motion and diagnostic outputs.
• Establish model parameters, software boundaries, and regression metrics.
• Partner with various teams to ensure integration and reliability of simulations.
• Set technical standards and mentor engineers through design and implementation.
