Job description
The Datacenter Product Engineer at NVIDIA will collaborate with various engineering teams to launch new AI Supercomputing Platforms. This role focuses on supporting new GPU hardware in mass production, ensuring compliance with design requirements, and optimizing production processes. The engineer will leverage their knowledge in system architecture and GPU technology to enhance product quality and efficiency. This position plays a critical role in driving scientific progress through advanced computing solutions.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong fundamentals in electrical engineering with knowledge in GPU and/or CPU development.
- Experience with high-speed interconnects, memories, system reliability, and server RAS features.
- Knowledgeable in statistics, timing analysis, and fault analysis.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with NPI teams for smooth production ramp at worldwide manufacturing sites.
- Recommend and ensure compliance to DFx requirements for robust signal integrity performance.
- Develop and deliver test specifications for system level manufacturing screens for new products.
- Drive alternate components qualifications and BOM updates.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers to define product assembly line and optimize for cost and throughput.
- Lead optimization and continuous improvement efforts on production screen specification processes.
- Support customer facing and quality teams during customer escalations to understand and fix issues.
