Job description
The Senior Developer Technology Engineer for Artificial Intelligence at NVIDIA focuses on researching and developing techniques to accelerate AI workloads using GPU technology. This role involves collaborating with experts in both industry and academia to optimize complex AI algorithms for modern CPU and GPU architectures. The position also includes publishing findings to engage the developer community and influencing the design of next-generation hardware and software. The Developer Technology Team is dedicated to driving innovation and enhancing NVIDIA's leadership in accelerated computing.
Requirements
- A Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related computationally focused science degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience or research.
- Programming fluency in C/C++ with a deep understanding of algorithms and software development.
- Experience in parallel programming, such as CUDA, OpenACC, OpenMP, MPI, or pthreads.
- Hands-on experience with low-level performance optimizations.
- In-depth expertise with CPU and GPU architecture fundamentals.
- Good communication and organization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving and prioritization.
Responsibilities
- Research and develop techniques to GPU accelerate workloads in deep learning, machine learning, or other AI domains.
- Work directly with technical experts to analyze and optimize complex AI and HPC algorithms.
- Publish and present optimization techniques in developer blogs or relevant conferences.
- Influence the design of next-generation hardware architectures, software, and programming models in collaboration with various teams at NVIDIA.
