Job description

The Edit Foundation team at Apple is focused on integrating advanced features and algorithms to enhance digital photography experiences. This role involves working with computer vision, image processing, and machine learning to create innovative editing features for the Photos app. The team is looking for an experienced software engineer who can contribute to the development of high-quality software that runs on every iPhone. Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Experience with object-oriented analysis and design
  • Proficiency in C, C++, Objective-C, or Swift
  • Experience with performance analysis and optimization techniques
  • Experience with image or video processing technologies
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving development environment
  • Experience with Metal or other GPU programming frameworks
  • Experience with on-device or applied machine learning techniques
  • Interest in visual media, graphics, and/or photography
