Candidates will work closely with PLM, IT, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to enhance design processes. • 5 plus years of experience in Engineering design and Release
• Applied experience in the automotive design and development process, system requirements, and engineering best practices
• Experience in method and process development and training
• Experience in the production part release process
• High level of expertise and proficiency with Catia, Enovia, Visual Scripting or similar tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• An eagerness to work cross-functionally in a dynamic environment

• Lead overall process for new method identification and development
• Develop, test and implement knowledge and rule based design automations
• Architect and deploy automations
• Create and deliver training material
• Interface with PLM, IT, Manufacturing and Engineering to ensure end to end efficiency
• Develop efficiencies for coordination of geometry progression and CAD design
• Ensure all geometric requirements for milestone delivery are analyzed and met
• Develop templates and knowledge patterns for automations
• Enable effective communications with various teams to deliver optimal design solutions
• Support and champion the development of best practices for design and engineering
