Arcadis is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join their Transportation team in Eastern Texas or Louisiana. This role focuses on supporting a variety of transportation infrastructure projects, including bridges and foundations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical judgment and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The position emphasizes the application of geotechnical expertise to enhance transportation infrastructure design and construction.

• Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive geotechnical engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification.
• Experience supporting bridge, transportation, or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical design software.

• Plan, manage, and coordinate geotechnical field investigations and laboratory testing programs.
• Review boring logs, laboratory data, subsurface conditions, and soil mechanics.
• Perform geotechnical analyses for various transportation structures.
• Develop geotechnical recommendations to support designs and construction documents.
• Provide construction-phase services, including field observations and inspection coordination.
